#146: How to Understand the Fine Grain of Olympia Schools

We are in the season where, in the Olympia School District, you can choose a different path for your kids. In this episode, we sit down with OSD4All’s Erika Lari to talk about the new guide the group recently released to describe, in fine detail, all of the different programs around the district: https://osd4all.org/district-guide/

Thank you for all this information. Our kindergartener got lucky and won lotteries for Lincoln, ORLA and HAP. We couldn’t be happier at Lincoln. We live on the Westside. I drive my kids to school daily. One is at an outdoor preschool. I know other families that attend HAP. One is very satisfied. The other family is not. I also know another family that transferred to Lincoln from Tumwater. I am a member of the OCC and the Fundraising Committee at Lincoln. Also know some ORLA families. Ultimately feel grateful for being in the OSD. Thank you for making a guide and making this pod. I am hosting a benefit show for Lincoln May 19th at Wild Child. Show is at 6. Hope to see you there. Lincoln needs to raise 80-90k a year outside of federal and state funding.
